Yes, this has been the most challenging year of my writing career. Too many things to juggle including getting to this blog. No excuses really other than too many things coming at me.
I will do better.
So what have I been up to if I haven’t been here? Project Threshold has been consuming lots of my time.
I wrote the second serial. I need one more edit run through even though RedCape has the first version. That’s my priority. RedCape is creating an audio book of the first set of stories and then the 2nd set will drop.
I have been struggling with the marketing side of things. I’ve got a slim budget and trying to decide the best way to use those dollars–it’s the reality of life and I’m getting it figured out. I’m going to drop an ad campaign. I’ll do a press release, contact local book stores and then I’m going to run ads on Youtube and possibly run some small scale advertising. Yeah, it’s been hours of plotting and planning.
However, on the writing front, I’ve gotten three new short stories picked up for publication. I’ll update my published page soon, but The Creep Podcast picked up a story I wrote called Did I?, about a guy recounting an unnerving incident as a kid about a car crash he was in.
Also Welcome To Fudge Town was picked up by Dark Horses Magazine. About Carrie who is struggling with schizophrenia but Dr. Banderbuk shows her a new way to “See” it.

Oh, and Inky Bones Press ran a contest for a short based off of a creepy pic and my story, It Told Me Its Name Is Mot was one of five winners 🙂
Finally, back to my fantasy roots, next year I have a dark fantasy story coming out called Meridian. An invading army gets stopped from sieging a keep and the leaders are forced to make a deal with a dark entity named Meridian (don’t say his name out loud)…thanks to Dirty Magick Magazine!
So yes, I’ve been busy…
Alright, go write, go read and I’ll be back more often from here on out!
