Post Holidays relax time…

Yep, all the excitement, stress and crazy of the holidays has passed. I live in the Midwest so it means cold and some snow. The climate around here has shifted such that January is when winter really begins here.

We’ve been below zero degrees for several days and so it means spending a lot of time indoors. So what’s a person to do?

Yep. Read. Or watch movies. For me, it’s when I really start writing. Because there’s nothing left to get excited for (well my Birthday’s in January, but once that’s done…) except the creative projects.

I’m almost done with Project Threshold Season 3. It’s been a journey. There are some stories I’m proud of in the mix. Some just got me excited to sit down and write them. You want teasers? Sure, I’ll leak a couple of things. For those of you who have been reading this series, yes certain story lines are coming back around. One, there’s going to me more of Cowler in the ongoing Berger/Aurora stories. She’s joining the team and jumping in. And frankly, Berger needs the help ๐Ÿ™‚

2nd teaser: it was building in Season 2 but Riker’s going after her childhood monster. It’s not going to be as simple as she thinks, and there’s going to be a lot of hell to deal with. Her sister, Sarah, is showing up in Season 3 too. You’ll see the what’s and why’s later this year, but I was really happy with her character and how she gets involved.

Like always, lots of twists and turns and things not going according to plan. Who knew? ๐Ÿ™‚

AND, yes, I hired Eva Mout from UrsusArtStudio to create scenes from the stories for this one. In fact, two illustrations for each book and she really is capturing the essence of some of the stories. I’m giving her first read and letting her run wild with her imagination to draw whatever she’s inspired by. I have not been disappointed.

Yeah. So if you’re in cold weather climates, cuddle up with a blanket, a book (not just mine ;)), and maybe something to drink to keep you warm. Enjoy and relax as this month winds down.

Goof fortune to you, one and all.

Craig
