Hi all,
I’m going to keep this brief. For a whole gamut of reasons this it my heavy writing time of year. It’s a long story and I’ve probably talked about it before, but January through April is usually when I knock out a novel if I’m working on one.
For the present, I’m finishing Project Threshold Season 3. January was not my friend when it came to time–too many real world things kept getting in my way, stifling my creativity. Funny how life works, but it is what it is sometimes.
However, I’m back on point and moving.
Once I finish those and get them sent off, at the end of the month I’m heading to the Evansville Horror Con in Indiana to set up a table for all my books 🙂

I’m going to be at Booth #23 so if you’re in the area, come on over even just to say hi!
Then after, I’m going to work on my Darby Xanthe novels. If you don’t know what those are, check out my sci-fi tab on my site. It’ll give you background on Darby. I’ve got at least one reader fan who is excited about that news…and a bit miffed I haven’t got back to Darby and her adventures before now.
They aren’t published yet, but I think I’ll find a home for them once I get ready.
Sadly that’s how this writing thing goes. When Project Threshold started happening for real, it kind of pushed other projects to the sidelines. But Darby is one of my favorite stories and I’m planning 5-6 books depending on how it plays out. I’m about 40% done with book 3 and things are escalating. I’m also having a crossover which is going to be fun.
So, if you’re a writer, keep writing. Winter months, warm or freezing, are a good time post holidays to settle down at the keyboard and let your muse loose. If you’re a reader, time to cuddle up with the stack of books you accumulated over the holidays and get them read.
AND–remember to review books. It helps authors like myself rank up and get more visibility.
Thanks and happy February!
