So I have my second published short story, Below the Water Line, coming out this December! It’s very cool and I am bouncing over the pick up of my story. A big thanks to those at Soteira Press for publishing it!!!
Short stories, especially horror, are definitely one of my favorites to read, and I’ve realized I like writing them as well. It’s a nice break from the novel and good exercise for the brain pan–trying to evolve a story in a short amount of space, packing in the tension and the escalation.
It feels good to get an accolade like a publication. It’s a confidence booster for sure, getting solid feedback that your story meant enough to someone else to end up on a page.
